I’m 42 years old, and on the surface, my life has appeared comfortable. But for most of those years, I struggled deeply with my internal world. It wasn’t until my internal misery became unbearable—when everything in my life started to feel beyond my control—that I realized I had been floating through life without truly engaging with it.

Pain and awareness led me back to nurturing my inner self, diving into personal development teachings from others such as Tony Robbins for one, and eventually embarking on a spiritual path which has brought not only peace, but courage to really live as my authentic self. I came to understand that many of the decisions I had unconsciously made had shaped the life I was living. Now, I’m intentionally making decisions every day to create a life my heart has always longed for. It’s not just the big decisions that matter; even the smallest, everyday actions tip the scale toward the life we truly want. We don’t have to settle for the life we get by default—every decision, no matter how small, has the power to shape our future.
Through my journey, I’ve developed a series of daily practices that help me stay on track, and I’m sharing them here for anyone who feels lost or overwhelmed. If you’re seeking a way back to intentional living and a life of purpose, I hope these small steps can serve as a guide.
It doesn’t matter where you are in life or how many times you’ve gotten sidetracked—it’s never too late to start or restart. Every new day is an opportunity to take purposeful action. As the old saying goes: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." My hope is that, through this blog, you’ll find the inspiration to take that first step, and the next, toward the life you’ve always dreamed of creating.
